Add your signature, printed name and the date with your finger — then download the signed file and e-file it free, or print it anywhere. No printer, no scanner, nothing to install.
Draw it with your finger, or type your name.
Type what should appear on the document.
Look for the file starting with SIGNED_ in your Downloads or Files app.
File that copy — the one beginning “SIGNED_”, not the original — with the court, one of two ways:
E-file it, free. Indiana lets people representing themselves file online through the state's own system at efile.incourts.gov. Upload the SIGNED_ file. It is optional for you, and there is no fee to file an Answer.
Or print it. Any public library in Indiana prints for a few cents a page. Take the printed copy to the clerk of the court named on your papers, or mail it. Keep a copy and note the date you filed.
Then mail a copy to the plaintiff's attorney — the address is on the complaint. Questions? [email protected] or text (888) 396-7107.
