Who we are

MyCivilHelp is a document preparation service operated by Tx Civil Help Inc, 5900 Balcones Dr #13025, Austin, TX 78731. We are not a law firm and we are not attorneys. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or recommendations about legal strategy.

What we do

At your direction, we prepare documents — such as an Appearance, a written Answer, and related filing materials — using information from public court records and information you provide. You review, approve, sign, and file all documents yourself. You make all decisions about your case.

What we don't do

We do not represent you in court, communicate with opposing parties on your behalf, predict the outcome of your case, or advise you which legal position to take. Information we provide about court procedures is general information, not legal advice.

Fees

Our fee is a flat charge stated before you pay, processed by Stripe. Court filing costs, if any, are separate (filing an Answer in Indiana courts is generally free for defendants).

Deadlines are yours

Court deadlines apply to you regardless of our involvement. We work quickly, but you are responsible for filing on time. Contact us early; never wait until the last day.

No guarantee of outcome

No one can guarantee the result of a lawsuit, and we do not. Responding the way your summons and your court require — filing an Answer, and appearing when you are told to — is what protects against a default; it does not decide the case.

Communications

Text messages. We send text messages only to people who have opted in — by submitting the SMS consent form, by texting us first, or by giving us a mobile number when contacting us. Messages cover case notifications, deadline reminders, replies to your questions, and confirmation when documents are ready. Message frequency varies by case. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Reply STOP to any message to end messages immediately and permanently; reply HELP for help, or email [email protected]. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We never sell or share your mobile number, and no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy.

Email. By contacting us or providing your email address, you agree we may respond by email about your matter. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link.
